Dear Sisters...

Asalaam Alaykum Warahmat Allah Wabarakatu,

Often times sisters approach me for chaplaincy, support, advice and coaching with trust and it is taken as a heavy responsibility I accept this as an amana in the sight of Allah. Anything good that I offer is from the guidance of my Rabb and anything else is from my own nafs. I ask Allah to me sincerity as I ask Allah to give you clarity in your life so that you are enabled to reach your positive goals for this life and the next.

It is very important you know who you are gaining knowledge from, I am a student of knowledge in Quran and Sunnah. Growing up I really disliked anything about reading but Allah put a love in my heart for ilm when I was in college many years back when I entered the study of occupational therapy and when my interest in Islam was heightened, even though I had been Muslim all my life. You are welcome to learn more about me by just asking.

It's your right to know the source of anything you read or take in. That's why I created this course more of just a collection of interviews that I have accepted to participate it. I'll be honest, this makes me feel so exposed! LOL. But if you enrolled in Madina Therapy Institute, you ought to know my background. All success any of us reaches is from the mercy of our Rabb, and any faults, errors or fails is from the state of my own nafs. As you are here to seek knowledge, I too am seeking knowledge and I ask Allah to give us all much baraka.

If you have any questions I have left all the comments under each post open for your covnenience. So take advantage of that! You're also welcome to send an email to [email protected] or if seeking more specific faith based coaching, counseling or help you can send a message to [email protected]

BarakAllah feekum.

I leave you with the words of Abu Bakr, radi Allahu anhu:

 اللهم لا تؤاخذني بما يقولون،

O Allaah do not take me to task with  what they say,

 واجعلني خيرًا مما يظنون،

and make me better than what they presume

واغفر لي ما لا يعلمون،

and forgive me for what they do not know.’

Love you for the sake of Allah.

Your Sister,

Sohada
